Anglo Cape Confirming was formed in 1994 with a focus on assisting businesses with their cash flow requirements through providing a line of credit and time within which to repay the credit advanced (90-120 days). It is a means of short-term finance over and above your existing bank facility.
Anglo Cape's hands on approach ensures that new applications are processed swiftly and credit decisions are made within 5-7 working days. Anglo Cape differentiates itself from the competition by focusing on nurturing close relationships with their clients and understanding their clients’ needs in order to tailor finance solutions that best meets their short-term financial requirements.

Malcolm Woolf - Director
BA LLB MBA (UCT)
Malcolm has 35 years experience in trade finance. After completing his MBA in 1976 he worked for Anglo African Shipping Co 1936 (Pty) Ltd in Johannesburg. He then moved to Cape Town to run the Cape Town branch for 10 years. Thereafter he was headhunted by Reichmans Ltd to head up the Cape Town branch. He was a director of Reichmans Ltd for 6 years before leaving in 1992 to start Anglo Cape. Malcolm has a wealth of experience in trade and equity finance and he oversees the business with regards to approving new clients and focussing on relationship management.
Jarryd Brivik
B.Soc.Sci (UCT)
Jarryd has been working for Anglo Cape Confirming full time for 6 years, with a focus on marketing, client relations, and is involved in the day to day running of the business. Before starting at Anglo Cape, Jarryd worked in the hospitality industry and started his own food business and then later join Anglo Cape Confirming full time. Jarryd studied at UCT and then spent four years traveling and working in the United States. Jarryd is enthusiastic about the outdoors and martial arts, he mountain bikes, trail runs and has a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu
